Airbotics Talent are excited to be representing a leading global robotics and drone software company as they expand their software engineering team in North America. Central to this growth is the recruitment of a Senior Fullstack Engineer to drive innovation in autonomous systems and help scale next-generation platforms used across critical industries worldwide.

This position is remote, with preference for candidates based in Texas, though strong applicants from elsewhere in the US will also be considered. Occasional domestic travel may be required for training, team collaboration, or customer engagement.

The Role

As Senior Software Engineer (Fullstack), you will play a key role in advancing robotics and AI platforms by delivering software that interacts directly with autonomous systems. This is an opportunity to own projects across the stack, from backend APIs through to modern web applications, while contributing to real-world deployments at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end development of new features across frontend and backend systems.
  • Build and test software that integrates with autonomous robotics hardware.
  • Take ownership of system design, architecture, deployment, and ongoing optimisation.
  • Ensure production reliability through observability, monitoring, and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and user-centric solutions.
  • Champion clean code, testing best practices, and continuous improvement.

The Person

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of professional fullstack development experience.
  • Strong backend coding skills in Python and/or Go.
  • Proficiency with modern frontend frameworks such as Angular, React, or similar.
  • Solid experience building and integrating RESTful APIs.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (GCP preferred) plus Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Database expertise with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or equivalent.
  • A strong testing mindset, with hands-on use of automated test frameworks.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in distributed teams.
