Airbotics Talent are excited to be representing a highly innovative drone scale-up based in Switzerland, who are looking to scale their Sales and Commercial function. As part of this, the business are looking to hire a Global Head of Sales to define the commercial strategy, scale their internal sales structure and deliver growth in the global inspection, surveying & mapping markets.

This role can by hybrid but requires a minimum of two days a week in the Zurich office.

The Role

As Global Head of Sales, this role will sit at executive level and work closely with the C-level and Founding team. Sitting over a small team in Switzerland and North America, this role will be critical in the future growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and Execute Sales Strategy: Craft a comprehensive global sales strategy, aligning it with the company's overall business objectives, and drive its successful implementation.

• Revenue Growth: Take ownership of revenue targets and work relentlessly to achieve and exceed them, identifying new market opportunities and customer segments.

• Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performance global sales team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and collaboration.

• Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain key customer relationships, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and retention, while also expanding the client base.

• Market Expansion: Identify and assess new markets and industry verticals for potential growth, creating entry and expansion plans to capture market share.

• Product Positioning: Collaborate with product development and marketing teams to optimize product offerings, pricing, and positioning based on market feedback and competitive analysis.

• Sales Operations: Establish and manage efficient sales processes, forecasting, and analytics to enhance decision-making and resource allocation.

• Strategic Partnerships: Identify and negotiate strategic partnerships, alliances, and distribution channels to extend the company's reach and drive incremental sales.

The Person

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience selling drone or UAV solutions - this is an essential requirement. Unfortunately candidates without this experience cannot be considered for this role

• A minimum of 5 year's experience in strategic sales leadership roles

• Delivered significant revenue growth and increased market share

• A winning mentality and an impactful sales and business leader

• You should be globally mobile and willing and available for international travel to locations outside of Switzerland including wider EU, North America, LATAM and APAC

• A Degree in Sales, Engineering or other associated fields would be advantageous but not essential
