Airbotics Talent are excited to be representing a rapidly scaling global robotics client in their expansion across Europe. Central to their strategic growth is the recruitment of an EU based Business Development Manager with the skills, drive and aptitude to grow their business in the industrial, energy, oil & gas and offshore markets through their inspection and MRO platform.

This role is remote and candidates can be based anywhere in the Europe. You be required to have reasonable customer facetime and as a result you should be willing and able for domestic and international travel across the EU region.

The Role


As Business Development Manager (EU), you will be tasked with identifying, quoting for and winning sales opportunities and bids in the European market. Your focus will be selling robotics and advanced technologies into traditional energies markets, driving value to customers beyond traditional inspection and MRO methods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive new business development across European markets, focusing on sectors such as energy, utilities, and infrastructure.
  • Build and nurture relationships with distributors, integrators, and end customers to grow long-term partnerships.
  • Manage the full sales process from prospecting and proposal through to negotiation and successful contract closure.
  • Deliver impactful presentations, demonstrations, and site evaluations to showcase technical solutions and set clear expectations.
  • Collaborate with technical and commercial teams to shape proposals and ensure solutions meet client needs.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and networking events across Europe.
  • Provide timely market feedback and pipeline updates to support strategy and decision-making.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, addressing technical and operational queries while guiding them on integration requirements.

The Person


The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience with ground robotics, automation or drone B2B sales.

• Exposure selling solutions into Oil & Gas, Industrial, Utilities or Energy markets.

• A minimum of 5 year's experience in developing new markets and customers bases.

• Delivered tangible new business wins.

• A proactive "hunter" mentality, with a passion for identifying and winning new business.

• You should be mobile and willing and available for travel across Europe to new and existing customers.

• A Degree in Engineering or other associated fields for technical input to the sales process would be advantageous but not essential. The ability to sell technical solutions and bridge engineering and sales is strongly preferred.

• You must be fluent in English and ideally another language. German or French preferred.
